Although I do not consider myself a particularly picky eater, I would have to draw a line between what delicacies I would be willing to sample and the ones I would completely pass if given the chance to try them. Casu marzu (a Sardinian, sheep milk cheese with live maggots), kopi luwak (the world’s most expensive, gourmet coffee made from partially digested coffee cherries eaten then pooped by the Indonesian cat-like creature, luwak), panda dung tea (this one does not need much of an explanation…or does it)? No, thank you very much.
What do you consider a delicacy? Perhaps to you the word does not call to mind a choice food but rather something of fine or intricate texture and/or constitution, something fragile but valuable, or possibly something else? Looking forward to seeing your interpretation in a picture. Post on FB and/or IG, with #2017photochallenge.
