Today’s prompt is: Depth! Depth is another one of those weird linguistic metaphors. The ocean is deep. So is your philosophical buddy who never stops talking about Nietzsche. Depth is distance, both literal and metaphorical. With photography, depth, generally depth of field, is the distance created between the nearest and furthest parts of a pictures that in focus. In portraiture, the person can be sharp and the background blurry. That area where the person looks sharply in focus is the depth of field. Cool, right? So you can be literal, metaphorical, or technical with today’s prompt. Whoa, deep!
